Know the Difference we can help

Types of snow removal contracts:
Per-Push versus Seasonal.

Both options have their advantages and drawbacks there are two common types of contracts offered by commercial snow removal companies – Per Push Contracts or Seasonal Contracts. We always recommend getting a quote early as possible for the best advantage during our Wisconsin snow season.

1. Per Push Snow Service Contract: Hourly or One Single Charge

Advantage of per Push Plowing Contract
Charged per Hour or
One charge per visit
Lower cost for light warm winter.
Ideal for smaller properties.

Disadvantages of per Push Not a Priority Service.
Per push is a route list service. Much the same as the mailman delivers mail one house then onto the next house.

  • No On-Time guarantee service if its critical to have your snow removed Ice control or salting.

2. Seasonal Snow Removal Service Contracts:

Fixed calculated pricing for the typical snow season November 1st thru March 1st. This includes snow removal and ice control on your designated property, regardless of the frequency and intensity of snowfalls, for one set monthly fee.

Advantage of a Seasonal Snow Removal Contract: Priority Service One Monthly Fee Snow and ice will be cleared thru the entire typical season. Prioritized timely service. May include onsite equipment and salt storage if applicable.

Disadvantages of Seasonal Snow Removal Contract: Higher cost, same monthly charge snow or no snow. Its a fixed price calculated by the average amount of winter storms, and after March 15th contract ends.

Making Your Decision: Choose the Best Contract Per Push Service vs. Seasonal Service Contracts

Do commercial snow removal service contracts typically include salting ? Pre-treatment of surfaces prior to snow events De-icing and application of specialized ice melt. Shoveling of walkways and entrances. Hauling away snow if needed.

Keep in mind as you make your decision: Per-event contracts initially seem cheaper, making them attractive. This may work well in areas that experience minimal snowfall or Not time critical. However, heavy snowfall, opting for a seasonal contract provides no surprises. If your business needs to be open, opt for seasonal agreements just one monthly cost even though initially it may seem higher. Per-Push or Seasonal contracts are a decision that impacts your property’s safety and accessibility throughout the winter months. By weighing your specific needs and evaluating your options you can choose confidently an agreement that perfectly suits your property needs and budget.
